The countdown has started!

We will still celebrate Museum Brandhorst’s 10th anniversary until 19 July, with the exhibition “Forever Young” showing many highlights from the collection. More than 250 works by over 45 artists are on display. Experience the “dark side of Pop Art” in the works of Andy Warhol, explore “painting in the information age” in the works of Kerstin Brätsch, or ask yourself, while viewing Cady Noland’s installation “Deep Social Space”, which forms of subjectivity are produced by the present. On the upper floor, Cy Twombly awaits you as ever. His spectacular Rose Room can once again be seen, since the anniversary year, in its original form, as conceived by the artist himself. To conclude the exhibition we are also offering a glance behind the scenes: in the coming weeks you can follow the dismantling of Damien Hirst’s “In This Terrible Moment We Are All Victims of an Environment That Refuses to Acknowledge the Soul” live in the museum, and see how the more than 27,000 pills find their way back into their packaging.
