Coronavirus precaution: Current information

In view of the dynamic spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), the Museum Brandhorst, the Alte Pinakothek and the Pinakothek der Moderne as well as the Schack Collection will be closed to the public starting on 14 March. The closure is initially scheduled to last until April 20, after the end of the Easter holidays. All events, guided tours and workshops in the museums are also cancelled until further notice. The Collection

More than 1,200 works of art span an arc from the 1960s to the present. Highlights such as the world's most extensive collection of works by Cy Twombly, the largest collection of Andy Warhol's works in Europe, outstanding groups of post-modern works and international positions in contemporary painting are waiting to be explored.
