Artist Talk: Lucy McKenzie in conversation with Jacob Proctor

On September 12th, Lucy McKenzie discussed her oeuvre with curator Jacob Proctor in a digital live talk and provided insights into her work.

For more than twenty years, Lucy McKenzie has challenged the boundaries between painting and other fields of cultural production. On the occasion of her first survey exhibition, Museum Brandhorst presents a conversation between Lucy McKenzie and curator Jacob Proctor. They will discuss the evolution of her work, interests and influences, and artistic methodology over the past two decades.

Lucy McKenzie was born in Glasgow in 1977. She lives and works in Brussels, Belgium.

The conversation took place in the context of Various Others and the exhibition "Lucy McKenzie – Prime Suspect", which can be seen at the Museum Brandhorst until 21 February 2021.
