Cooperate with us!

We are looking for cooperating schools and classes that would like to help shape the Factory. Develop text or audio contributions with us, share your creative ideas with other schools, or work with us on the guidelines for interdisciplinary lessons.

We are keen to improve our program based on your needs and to make the museum an extracurricular place of learning. Exchange views with us so that we can learn what really works. We are also experimenting with new formats, such as live online connections to the classroom, to further deepen collaboration between the museum and schools.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Pi.lot Project

In a one-week seminar, young people aged 14 and older can train to become art experts and museum guides at Museum Brandhorst and the Pinakothek der Moderne. Under the guidance of experts, they learn about the background and contexts of modern art and design, while practicing public speaking and communication..

Kunstpaten

Kunstpaten don’t just present art, they make it an individual experience. This can be in a museum, but could just as well be in the midst of the city’s architecture, on an action-packed film set, or in the semi-darkness of a video installation. Unfortunately, this program is only offered in German.

Art inspirations for your lessons

The diverse themes of contemporary art offer numerous starting points for interdisciplinary teaching. Our guidelines were developed in close cooperation with teachers from various school types and contain inspiration for the practical transfer of our themes to the classroom—oriented to the curriculum content of the individual subjects.

Preparation

And: Action!

We bring contemporary art into your classroom with our creative projects. Whether short exercises for in-between or ideas for larger projects—we provide creative impulses close to the artistic positions and works of the Brandhorst Collection.
