Description

Cy Twombly’s rose paintings are part of Museum Brandhorst’s permanent collection. They form the core of the exhibition, which brings together very different flower motifs, with many loans, including Jan Brueghel the Elder, Claude Monet, Gabriele Münter, and Georgia O'Keeffe. The depictions revolve around major themes such as freedom, loneliness, eroticism and death.

Sabrina Göb from the Museum Signers, a network of people interested in art and culture who aim to infect other deaf people with their enthusiasm, will guide visitors through the current presentation in German sign language.
