Description
TEXT PAINTS IMAGE AND CREATES COLLAGES
How can you use text to create digital images? That is what we will show you in this workshop. Based on the works in the exhibitions, digital image worlds are created with a so-called artificial intelligence. Through the platform "text to image" text is transformed into digital images. With this help we create characters or objects based on our descriptions. In turn, we can print these out and edit them further. With scissors and glue, pens and paint, you will in turn create your own collage.
The workshop is led by Rupert Jörg. He studied media art and art education at the Academy of Fine Arts (AdBK) Munich and the AdBK Vienna. In his artistic work he deals with the changing nature of media, analyzing their effect on social structures. His art education work is consequently media-critical, with a focus on the mechanisms of influenceability and the question of how these effects are achieved.
THE KIDS FACTORY
The Kids’ Factory is a program for children aged between 6 and 12, inviting them to become creative themselves, as the mood takes them. It is possible to join at any time. Different techniques and themes inspire varied artistic pursuits: Whether drawing, painting, working with different printing techniques, dancing; whether analog, digital or hybrid—we will whisk you away to the world of colors and shapes, and appeal to your imagination and creative spirit.
