Description
Technology continues to penetrate our lives as an omnipresent element, increasingly merging with our bodies. What happens when our senses are expanded and previously imperceptible things become perceptible? How does our body react to superhuman sensations? We explore together, with the help of 360° film, virtual reality and our physical experiences in the borderland of familiar and unfamiliar perspectives.
The workshop will be run by the artist Angela Stiegler and the researcher Shila Rastizadeh. The number of participants is limited. If you wish to reserve a place, please register at programm@pinakothek.de. Possible workshop languages: German, English.
Art Education Program accompanying the special exhibition "Future Bodies from a Recent Past"
The open drop-in format “Silver Factory” is designed for adults and young people and provides the appropriate framework to get creative yourself as the mood takes you. Different techniques and themes inspire varied artistic pursuits: Whether drawing, painting, working with different printing techniques, dancing; whether analog, digital or hybrid… drop by and let yourself be carried away into the world of colors and shapes in a relaxed atmosphere.
The art education program accompanying the special exhibition “Future Bodies from a Recent Past” was developed as part of “dive in. Programme for Digital Interactions” of the Kulturstiftung des Bundes (German Federal Cultural Foundation) with funding by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM) through the NEUSTART KULTUR programme.
The program was also generously supported by PIN. Freunde der Pinakothek der Moderne e.V.
