Open workshops for visitors of all ages in the patio of Museum Brandhorst (lower level) and in the Pavillion333 in front of the Museum
On the occasion of the exhibition “Site Visit”, everything in March revolves around the themes of “place” and “space.” Whether public space, private collection or museum—art can be found in many places. What role do place and space play in contemporary art, also as material components? How does art change space, and space change art? The size and nature of the artwork also play a role. What space does a three-dimensional sculpture occupy as opposed to a work on paper or canvas?
Following a dialogical approach, we playfully try out various scenarios ourselves in small practical workshops. Visitors of all ages can get creative and exchange ideas with our team. The program also offers numerous ideas for exploring our museum in new ways.
