Description
The Eva Felten Photography Collection expands our view of the relationship between art, artists and society. Our viewing habits are challenged. What do we expect from a photograph? Do we believe in its objectivity? Do we reflect on the hierarchy inherent in the ultimately powerful act of “taking” photographs? Our survey tour puts these and other aspects of exhibition up for discussion. We will encounter works by prominent photographers such as Diane Arbus, Rineke Dijkstra, William Eggleston, Robert Frank, Evelyn Hofer, Roni Horn, Isaac Julien, Helen Levitt, Tracey Moffatt, Richard Prince, Bruce Wrighton and many others.
