Eva Felten’s photography collection is deeply influenced by humanism. A special focus is on depictions of people who have been photographed for very different reasons. What might have motivated the photographers to focus on this person or group? Can we recognize any particular strategies? We will examine selected works in this light, including by Nan Goldin, Roni Horn, Arthur Jafa, Isaac Julien, Helen Levitt and Bruce Wrighton. During the tour we will give you an intensive insight into the production conditions.
