Description
THE ART OF DOODLING
Doodling is a return to graphic expression, freed from representation. It is often associated with drawings by small children. One tends to understand this gesture as meaningless.
Together we will trace the meaning of this gesture in the works of Cy Twombly. It might be the beginning of a thought, a form or writing. It translates a movement, but also a space. It is the beginning of something that is in development.
Doodling is an activity detached from technical conventions. It stands for the pure, intuitive expression of thoughts and feelings. No matter how old you are, the ability to doodle might be important.
Through various artistic activities in this workshop, we will find out how we can focus on free self-expression.
The workshop will be run by artist Charlotte Giacobbi. She received her diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. Previously, her art studies took her to the Sorbonne University in Paris, the Bourges School of Art, and the Braunschweig University of Fine Arts. For Charlotte Giacobbi, art is a place of unlimited possibilities and is therefore very important to her. She would like to pass on these creative possibilities to others.
