Description

FOLD AND BLOOM – ORIGAMI WORKSHOP

We will make the Museum Brandhorst blossom and together create three-dimensional paper flowers using the origami technique. Discover your own creative potential while sensually playing with paper. From simple geometric shapes we will conjure up different, magnificent flowers. Time flies while folding. If you like, you can later hang your flowers in our lounge and let a colorful meadow grow together with other visitors.

The workshop is run by Kristina Müller. She is a freelance graphic designer, author and workshop leader. In her books (e.g. Fold and Bloom) and workshops, she shares her joy of folding, her love of paper and her enthusiasm for colors and shapes. What fascinates her most about folding paper is its versatility, feel, aesthetics, beauty and meditative character.

THE OPEN FACTORY

Every Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m., the intergenerational drop-in format “Open Factory” provides the right setting to get creative with the whole family or with friends. Changing techniques and themes entice you to take part in varied artistic projects, and to stroll through the exhibitions. Whether drawing, painting, using different printing techniques or dancing, whether analog, digital or hybrid—we will take you into the world of colors and shapes and appeal to your imagination and creative spirit.
