Description
Like little detectives, we will search for clues through Cy Twombly’s world of signs, writings, symbols, and color explosions. At the beginning, we will take a short guided tour of selected drawings, paintings, and sculptures by the American artist. What are Twombly's very personal signs? What materials does he work with and how can his wealth of forms be described? What goes through our minds when we look at his works? In short practical exercises we will gather our own experiences with Twombly's variety of forms.
