Information about the person
Johanna Klingler (*1988) studied German Philology at LMU Munich and King’s College London as well as Fine Art in Munich and Vienna. In 2016 she participated in the Berlin Program for Artists (BPA). Since 2018, she works on a PhD introducing the term “Emotional-Infrastructural Labour” with Profs. Josephine Berry & Marina Vishmidt (RCA London, Goldsmiths University) and Sabeth Buchmann (Academy of Fine Arts Vienna). She is also co-editor of Re:Re, a series of historical cultural re-prints published with Wirklichkeit Books Berlin.
Johanna Klingler’s installation as part of the exhibition “Site Visit” is supported by the Erwin und Gisela von Steiner-Stiftung, Munich.
