Description

As soon as we talk about computers and machines, it’s not long before we start to mention processes and algorithms. But what do we mean by this and what do they do? If you’ve ever cooked something from a cookbook with an adult, or built a model according to instructions, then you have already executed an algorithm yourself—namely the regulated sequence of certain actions. Together we will look at whether art can also be created according to algorithms. Is it still art then? And who actually made these rules?

The workshop will be run by our colleague and research assistant Janina Horn. The number of participants is limited. If you wish to reserve a place for your child, please register at buchung@pinakothek.de. Possible workshop languages: German, English.
