Description

Children and youngsters are welcome to explore the
monotype process under the instruction of the Kinderkunsthaus team. This traditional and uncomplicated printing method invites you to experiment – with surprising effects guaranteed. The monotype factory is held as an open workshop outside. Those who have time to visit the exhibition beforehand will find much inspiration in the works of Cy Twombly, for example.
In the context of the monotype workshop, there will be an extra special on Sunday: between 1 and 3 p.m. you can bring along your own light-colored tote bags and t-shirts to be printed with Andy Warhol’s aesthetic. In contrast to his screen-printing method, stencils will be used to design loud colors and individual motifs for the fabric.
No prior knowledge is necessary. It is possible to join in at any time. For children aged 3 years and above, accompanied by an adult.
