Description
Who gets to take up space—and who first has to create it for themselves? Which spaces already carry stories, and which stories still need to be told? In this workshop, we will explore through writing the question of what kinds of spaces we need and how we can make them safer and more accessible. Through open and creative writing exercises, we will reflect on our own experiences, wishes, and visions of space.
The workshop is primarily aimed at people from the BIPoC community (Black, Indigenous and People of Colour).
Sandy (they/she) is a social worker and has been writing for as long as they can remember. Sandy publishes texts as an author for the youngmigrantsblog as well as on their own blog, whatasandyworld. For Sandy, writing is not only a creative form of expression, but also a tool for processing life and lived experiences. In their workshops, Sandy encourages people to experiment with writing, grow through it, and encounter themselves in new ways.
