Description
HARING HAPPENING
In this interactive workshop, we will first look at and discuss Keith Haring’s iconic works to gain insight into content and form. We will then create quick drawings with colored pencils and markers, inspired by his style. We will explore the meaning of symbols. Using colorful cardboard boxes and acrylic markers, we develop our own symbols. We will put these together to create an impressive backdrop for a creative photo shoot. Inspired by Haring’s figures, let yourselves be photographed with various props and poses. At the end, we will reflect together on the artworks created, the different techniques and the poses chosen. The workshop not only offers an insight into Haring’s style. You can also discover your own forms of expression in a playful and creative way.
The workshop will take place in the ticket-free area of the Factory space (lower level) and is run by artist Rupert Jörg.
