FLOWERS IN VIRTUAL REALITY
In the Factory we give you the opportunity to try out different artistic techniques. In this workshop we will dive into the virtual world with VR headsets. There you can design three-dimensional flowers, gradually creating magical, fantastic flora. Visitors can create blossoms from oil paints or watercolors that become fire and lightning. In virtual reality, the possibilities are endless.
The workshop will be run by Elisabeth “Lizzy” Mayer. She has worked in the field of Virtual Reality (VR) since 2017 and has experience with immersive media installations and VR in an exhibition context. During her VR workshop she provides an opportunity to those who wish to get creative with this modern technology. You can find the results of the workshop here.
ABOUT THE SILVER FACTORY
Every second Thursday evening from 6 to 7.30 p.m., the free drop-in format “Silver Factory” provides the right setting for teenagers and adults to get creative. Inspired by Andy Warhol’s famous studio, the Silver Factory, various different techniques and themes entice us to take part in varied artistic endeavors across all media. Whether drawing, painting, using different printing techniques or dancing, whether analog, digital or hybrid, come by and be transported into the world of colors and shapes in a relaxed atmosphere.
