Description

Our bodies and senses are perfectly adapted to our environment and the stimuli occurring in it. But what happens when our sensory perception and the external stimuli no longer match? You have probably felt yourself spinning on a swing and whirling through the air, or have felt woozy after being on a boat. In this workshop we want to experience this feeling together and look at how our bodies are in harmony with the environment.

The workshop will be run by the artist Angela Stiegler and the researcher Shila Rastizadeh. Their project "Motion Sickness Exercise" is supported by LEONARDO. If possible, please bring your own smartphone or tablet and headphones. We will also provide a limited number of devices. The number of participants is limited. If you wish to reserve a place, please register at buchung@pinakothek.de. Possible workshop languages: German, English.
