Description

Open workshops for visitors of every age in the Museum Brandhorst lounge (first floor)
Every Sunday, our lounge on the first floor is transformed into a Pop-Up Factory. There, visitors of every age can get creative in small, hands-on workshops and talk to out team about art, our exhibitions, and how they relate to everyday social issues. The program also offers numerous suggestions for exploring our museum in new ways. From October to December, everything revolves around the multifaceted theme of “material world.”

Everyday objects, found objects, discarded items – art can be made from a wide variety of materials. Together we will embark on a journey through the material world of the artists of the Brandhorst Collection. What unusual things do they use? What serves as their inspiration? What memories or experiences do the materials hold? Which objects would you make into a work of art?
