Description
Artist Kate Newby observes her surroundings with great attention: as she walks through the city, she discovers and collects traces, patterns, and small details. She then works these into clay bricks. Inspired by her work “anything, anything” (2024–26) on the lawn next to the museum, you can create your own clay bricks in this workshop. You’ll collect shapes, textures, and materials from your surroundings. Then, through pressing, scratching, and drawing, you’ll create personal imprints, personal brands, and small works of art to take home.
The workshop is run by the artist Janna Jirkova.
Location: outdoors at the Art Mobile
