Who do we meet in the photographs from Eva Felten’s collection? Almost all of the motifs show people: alone, in groups, in certain situations. Are they professional models? Do the people know that they are being photographed? Do they seem comfortable in their surroundings or is something bothering them? In this tour, we deal with the stories behind the pictures. They lead us to individual fates, but also to timeless narratives of what it is to be human. They tell of people both in front of and behind the camera. With works by Diane Arbus, Larry Clark, Rineke Dijkstra, William Eggleston, Roni Horn, Pieter Hugo, Deana Lawson, Helen Levitt, Helga Paris, Shirana Shahbazi, Christopher Williams and many others.
