Description
WORDS AND COLORS – YOUR OWN POEMS AND STORIES ABOUT CY TWOMBLY’S WORKS
Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Cy Twombly’s art and be inspired to write your own creative texts! In our interactive workshop we invite you, your family and friends to write your own poems and stories, which you can then incorporate into small, creatively-designed leporelli (folded booklets).
In dialog, and equipped with pencil and paper, we will first approach the forms of expression of Twombly’s works. We will be guided by their colors and and later develop very personal texts. Whether you are a beginner or already have writing experience, this workshop offers space for creativity and exchange for everyone who enjoys words and images!
The workshop will take place in the Lounge (upper level) and will be run by Twombly expert
and art mediator Barbara Dabanoğlu.
THE OPEN FACTORY
Every Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m., the intergenerational drop-in format “Open Factory” provides the right setting to get creative with the whole family or with friends. Changing techniques and themes entice you to take part in varied artistic projects, and to stroll through the exhibitions. Whether drawing, painting, using different printing techniques or dancing, whether analog, digital or hybrid—we will take you into the world of colors and shapes and appeal to your imagination and creative spirit.
