Description

WHAT HAPPENED? OPEN NARRATIVES

Nicole Eisenman’s work uniquely combines references to art history with subtle humor, a love of comics and an exploration of identities, contemporary issues and life in general.

Based on the special exhibition, we will use these possibilities of artistic creation in the workshop and combine different aspects of time with painting, drawing and collage. This can be expressed in various forms, from collages to three-dimensional installations.

The workshop will be run by the artist Niloufar Shirani. In her painting she combines visual narratives with different levels of art history.

THE OPEN FACTORY

Every Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m., the intergenerational drop-in format “Open Factory” provides the right setting to get creative with the whole family or with friends. Changing techniques and themes entice you to take part in varied artistic projects, and to stroll through the exhibitions. Whether drawing, painting, using different printing techniques or dancing, whether analog, digital or hybrid—we will take you into the world of colors and shapes and appeal to your imagination and creative spirit.
