Description
Striking lines, strong surfaces, and pure adhesive power: the workshop with the artist Lina Zylla focuses on drawing with permanent markers. You will develop your own motif from image collages and draw it in clear contours—directly, spontaneously, expressively.
Then comes the surprise effect: using acrylic paint as an adhesive layer, the image is transferred to paper through a special unique and analogue printing process. Put your painterly lines on paper—in a figurative, wild, and open way.
The workshop will take place in the ticket-free area of the Factory space (lower level) and is run by the artist Lina Zylla. Her artistic practice focuses on the manipulation of reality and revolves around how it is triggered and preserved. In her installations and performances, she responds to the spaces at hand through painting and both visually and acoustically. After studying art history at Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich, Lina Zylla studied painting and sculpture under Günther Förg and Florian Pumhösl. She received her diploma in art from the Academy of Fine Arts Munich as a Meisterschülerin (master student) in 2019
