Description
MUSEUMS BUDDY - Secrets and Stories
What do works of art by Cy Twombly sound like for you? And what stories would you like to tell about them?
In this workshop, you will learn how to use stories to bring works of art to life! You will write your own texts and develop audio pieces and soundscapes. You can also learn more about the technology and appearance of our “Museum Buddy.” Be a part of it, illustrate works of art with sound, and tell art secrets and stories! The audio pieces developed will become part of the “Museum Buddy”: children can use them to go on an interactive audio scavenger hunt through the museum.
Together with tonies® we invite you to create the “Museum Buddy.” We are developing a special companion for children at Museum Brandhorst. Join in and give art a voice – your voice!
The workshop will take place in the Lounge (upper level) and will be run by art historian and educator Dr. Barbara Dabanoğlu. She wrote her doctoral thesis on Cy Twombly’s sculptures and was a research assistant in the art education department at Museum Brandhorst during the exhibition project “Future Bodies from a Recent Past.” She has developed numerous analog and digital workshop formats, and also conceived the inclusive youth project “Kunstlinge” for the Pinakotheken.
