Description
FLORAL PRINTS
During a joint visit to the exhibition “La vie en rose. Brueghel, Monet, Twombly,” we will gather impressions and ideas for the depiction of flowers, blossoms and plants. Using powerful strokes and colors, we will then conjure up our own luminous flower pictures, fantastic plants and plant patterns on paper. Quite in the style of Pop Art: anything but delicate.
We’ll play around with various printing techniques. Whether stencil technique, monotype, material or stamp printing – there will be something new and exciting for everyone.
The workshop will be run by freelance artist Elli Hurst. In her work, she explores natural structures and the properties of surfaces. Nature forms the basis of her artistic creative process and the source of her inspiration. The complexity, form and color of natural materials are the focus of her work.
THE OPEN FACTORY
Every Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m., the intergenerational drop-in format “Open Factory” provides the right setting to get creative with the whole family or with friends. Changing techniques and themes entice you to take part in varied artistic projects, and to stroll through the exhibitions. Whether drawing, painting, using different printing techniques or dancing, whether analog, digital or hybrid—we will take you into the world of colors and shapes and appeal to your imagination and creative spirit.
