Description

Alexandra Bircken is concerned with the vulnerability of the human body. Her sculptures made of motorcycles, animal bones or leather reflect humans in the 21st century. What makes us vulnerable? How can we protect ourselves?
Based on the artist's works, we examine the material properties of very different substances and develop our own protective shell.
