Description

Lucy McKenzie is a young Scottish artist living in Belgium. With her art she connects yesterday with today, likes to get ideas from other fields such as architecture, graphic design, fashion and advertising, and often collaborates with experts in these areas. But she is not a copycat, even though it might sometimes look that way. Rather, she has mastered an art that many have thought was lost: the perfection of craftsmanship in painting and drawing, even to the point of optical illusion. It takes a lot of practice to paint as well as Lucy – also in seeing! So don’t lose any time, take a look at some of the works in our online collection and latch onto Lucy’s trail!
