Description
The life of the party is an idiom that refers to someone who brings, to an event, a singular enthusiasm. In swapping the nouns of the phrase, we arrive at the Party of Life, the Museum Brandhorst´s new exhibition "Andy Warhol & Keith Haring. Party of Life" featuring the work of Andy Warhol and Keith Haring, which evokes both celebration and advocacy.
Taken together, these phrases – "the life of the party" and "the party of life" – affirm conversation’s powers to enlighten and delight. And so will our English conversation course (for those with a B2 level and up) take its inspiration from a philosophy of dialogue: At both of our two meetings, we will, together, view the art and, then, discuss the loves, labors, and languages of these two iconic American artists.
This class is suitable for level B2 and above.
Note: Admission to the museum is extra and not included in tuition.
