Nicole Eisenman infiltrates the history of European painting with queer pop culture and deconstructs traditional body identities, often in an ironic manner. How do we deal with art that seems to defy clear classification, that draws from figurative tradition without being traditional? Dr. Angela Maria Opel, lecturer in art and design history, invites you to engage with contemporary art, to see and understand its themes, backgrounds and idiosyncrasies. Join her in meeting art experts from the museum who will provide well-founded insights and happily answer your questions.
