Description

The tour takes you acoustically to one work at a time in the special exhibition “Nicole Eisenman. What Happened.” It is aimed at all visitors and is especially suitable for blind or visually impaired persons due to its intensive descriptions. In addition to the artwork and its content, the guided tour also conveys the spatial context on site, which is attentively “listened to.”

Each “Listen up” guided tour describes in detail one painting in the exhibition. The figures and scenes in Nicole Eisenman’s paintings provide an occasion to consider highly topical social issues. They tell of community, but also of the isolation of people. They literally adopt points of view that are addressed by the guided tour.
