Description
“WHITE PAINT IS MY MARBLE”
“White paint is my marble”
Cy Twombly
White paint, found objects, seemingly runny, smeared colors.
In this workshop, whose title picks up on a quote by Cy Twombly, we want to explore how the artist used white paint. We will play with the white paint—then see what happens when we add other colors.
The workshop will take place in the ticket-free area in the Factory room (lower level) and will be run by Lee Muller. After studying Art History (B.A.) and Classical Archaeology (M.A.) in Berlin, she initially worked as an archaeologist. Today she works as a freelance art educator in various cultural institutions in Munich.
