Description

TEXT PAINTS A PICTURE, RESULTING IN COLLAGES

How can you use text to create digital images? We will show you in this workshop. Based on works in the exhibitions, digital images will be created with so-called artificial intelligence. Using the platform “Text to Image”, text will be transformed into digital images. With this help, we will create characters or objects based on our descriptions. We can then print these out and edit them further. Using scissors and glue, pens and paints: This is now you create your own collage.

The workshop will be run by Rupert Jörg. He studied media art and education at the Academies of Fine Arts in Munich and Vienna. In his artistic work he examines media changes and analyzes their effect on social structures. His work in art education is consequently media-critical, with a focus on the mechanisms of influenceability and the question of how these effects are achieved.
