Description

MATERIALIZED IMAGE

A workshop for anyone who wants to rethink objects and experiment with found objects and colors! Robert Rauschenberg loved to experiment. He combined everyday objects with paint and canvas and created works of art that were neither pure painting nor classical sculpture—but both at the same time. He called these works “Combines.”

Using a wide variety of materials and techniques, we create objects and playfully discover where painting meets sculpture and pop culture meets art.

The workshop will take place in the ticket-free area in the Factory room (lower level) and will be run by artist Charlotte Giacobbi. She received her diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. Previously, her art studies took her to the Sorbonne University in Paris, the Bourges School of Art and the Braunschweig Academy of Fine Arts. For Charlotte Giacobbi, art is a place of unlimited possibilities and is therefore very important to her. She would like to pass this creative potential on to others.
