Description

LA VIE EN ROSE – LIFE IN PINK

The expression “la vie en rose” is French for “life in pink,” in other words, seeing life through rose-tinted glasses, with the French word for pink also meaning, well, a rose! Do you see your life in pink, or is it full of roses? That is what children can explore in this workshop. They will have the opportunity to paint their own abstract picture and experiment with different shades of pink. Then they can make their own artwork in a Pop Art style. For this, the children will design their own stamp in the shape of a rose, which they print on cool patterned paper. At the end, we will ask ourselves: hasn’t life become more beautiful?

The workshop will be run by artist Charlotte Giacobbi. She received her diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. Previously, her art studies took her to the Sorbonne University in Paris, the Bourges School of Art, and the Braunschweig University of Fine Arts. For Charlotte Giacobbi, art is a place of unlimited possibilities and is therefore very important to her. She would like to pass on these creative possibilities to others.
