Kangaroo Tour | Roni Horn: You are the Weather

The photo series "You Are the Weather" by Roni Horn (*1955 New York) was created in Iceland in the early 90s. It fills an entire room on the upper floor of the museum. We look into the face of a bather, which reflects the weather through the eyes, facial expressions and light reflections. The artist said of the sitter that her "emotional expression – she looks irritable, angry – was actually caused by the weather. (…) When you're in a room with her, it feels like you've provoked these reactions: you're going to be the weather." Our guided tour enables an intensive examination of the relationship that can arise between us and the work of art.

The tour is designed especially for visitors with babies. We recommend the use of a baby sling or similar.
