Can you imagine preserving your time in a cardboard box? What would you pack to preserve your life and experiences? Andy Warhol actually did exactly that, filling over 600 boxes with his personal treasures, from letters and drawings from his friends to everyday objects such as ties, watches and records. Today, we can see these boxes in the museum and reflect on Warhol's life and the times he lived in.
In our holiday workshop, you have the chance to create your own time capsule for the year 2024. Accompanied by artists and art historians, you will get to know Andy Warhol's art and dive into the messages he left us in his time capsules. Together with our team and other participants, you will consider how you can capture yourself and your time through objects, texts, music or mediums.
