Description
Why not a chair as a backpack or a sweater with four arms? No joke! Artists like Robert Rauschenberg, Jasper Johns, and Merce Cunningham created art that dances, laughs, and surprises. Inspired by the "Five Friends" exhibition, we’ll explore stage design and costumes. Costumes change your body, your movement, and the space around us – they’re more than just clothing. When is a space a stage? And how do I design that space?
In the workshop, you’ll get a chance to be creative yourself. We’ll also visit various places in the city related to costume and stage design. We’ll talk to experts, and there will be plenty of room for your own ideas and questions.
