Description

Creature-like objects, a motorcycle spilt in two, and a room that contains a lung! There is so much to marvel and explore in the exhibition of the artist Alexandra Bircken! That’s because her artworks are often made from all kinds of materials that you might recognize from everyday life. A small detached itself from one of Alexandra’s sculptures. His name is Birckie and he’s now running riot around Museum Brandhorst. His expertise means that he can reveal quite a lot about Alexandra’s artworks. Follow him on a discovery tour through the exhibition – you will learn a lot! A guided tour for the whole family.

Tip:
Children’s activity poster on the exhibition “Alexandra Bircken: A–Z”
With humorous tasks and exciting puzzles, our children’s activity poster accompanies you playfully through the exhibition, providing ideas for lateral thinking, doodling and being creative.

The children’s activity posters have been made possible with the generous support of PIN. Freunde der Pinakothek der Moderne e.V., Jan Fischer and the Udo and Anette Brandhorst Foundation.

LYRA is supporting children’s imagination by providing the many coloring pencils that are used in the museum. Both the pencils and the poster are handed out free of charge in the museum.
