Description

Creature-like objects, a motorcycle divided into two and a room that has a lung! In the exhibition of the artist Alexandra Bircken's work there is a lot to marvel at and explore! In fact, her artworks are often made of a wide variety of materials that you also know from everyday life. A small branch has detached itself from one of Alexandra’s sculptures. His name is Birckie and he is now running riot in Museum Brandhorst. With his expert knowledge, he can tell you a lot about Alexandra’s artworks. Follow him on a discovery tour through the exhibition. You will experience a lot! A tour for the whole family.

Tip:
Children’s activity poster on Alexandra Bircken: A–Z
With humorous tasks and exciting puzzles, our children’s activity poster accompanies you playfully through the exhibition, providing inspiration for thinking outside the box, doodling and being creative.
The children’s activity poster was made possible by the generous support of PIN. Freunde der Pinakothek der Moderne e.V., Jan Fischer and the Udo and Anette Brandhorst Foundation. LYRA is supporting children’s imagination by providing the many coloring pencils that are used in the museum. Both the pencils and the poster are handed out free of charge in the museum.
