Description
We are used to the fact that technology must be functional and should work. Errors are perceived as annoying and disturbing. And yet precisely here is an intrinsic aesthetic quality that should be discovered and appreciated. Glitches – i.e. faults in a system or deviations from the original – can be transformed from a disruptive element into an object of art. Together we will try to test technologies to the limits of their resilience, to bring about glitches, and to empower and emancipate ourselves.
The workshop will be run by Dr. Beat Rossmy. Possible workshop languages: German, English.
