Every second Saturday of the month at 4pm children can explore the exhibition in an one-hour children's tour. Our popular acitvity booklet is included for free!
During this guided tour, we invite children between the ages of six and twelve to an eventful art expedition through the Museum Brandhorst. The changing monthly themes inspire and stimulate the imagination. We use the activity booklet that has been especially made for the current exhibition. With its thoughtfully designed activities, it accompanies the museum visit and encourages a creative way to explore the artworks.
The tour takes place at the same time as the regular exhibition tour.
The activity booklet was generously supported by Bernhard and Julia Frohwitter, as well as the Udo and Anette Brandhorst Foundation. LYRA is aiding the children’s creativity by supplying the many coloring pencils that are used throughout the museum. The booklet was developed and designed by Anne Funck and Carla Nagel. Both the booklet and the pencils are handed out free of charge in the museum.
