Description

Algorithms – a finite sequence of rigorous well-defined instructions

– shape our everyday lives. We experience them not only in the virtual space, but also in interpersonal encounters and trivial courses of action – as in recipes or building instructions. But if an action is already premeditated, who is its creator? Who owns the resulting object or artwork? Together we test ourselves in the execution of artistic algorithms and explore where the limits of the predeterminable lie.

The workshop will be run by our colleague and research assistant Janina Horn. The number of participants is limited. If you wish to reserve a place, please register at programm@pinakothek.de pinakothek.de. Possible workshop languages: German, English.
