Description
“Seeing in itself means thinking about the world,” says Wolfgang Tillmans. The pictorial motifs of his “Buchholz & Buchholz” installation from 1993 present us with an excerpt from the techno and rave scene of the early 1990s, which Tillmans not only documented, but also experienced at first hand. His works convey a fearless and open view of the world. Can we grasp from the pictures a sense of the atmosphere that prevailed among many young people at that time?
