On 19 April 2012, the new special exhibition Georg Herold. Multiple Choice opens at the Museum Brandhorst. It will be on view through 2 September on both the ground and the lower floor. The exhibition is a comprehensive show of Herold’s oeuvre, presenting more than 100 works that were selected and curated in close collaboration with the artist who was present for the installation as well. On the lower floor the Museum is currently showing “Riverside” (2009) by young Belgian video artist David Claerbout. The Brandhorst Collection just acquired a series of 12 works that may be considered the storyboard for “Riverside”. These are on view in the Patio on the lower floor while “Riverside” is screened in the multimedia suite.
