Located on the lower floor are the Patio, multimedia galleries as well as six small galleries for works on paper.
Located on the ground floor are the foyer with the café and the bookstore as well as some small-scale exhibition rooms.
The Lepanto gallery is located on the museum's upper floor in the spacious head of the building. This Room was especially designed for Cy Twombly's painting in twelve parts, Lepanto (2001). Through a 450 sqm gallery visitors reach The Lounge, an intimate space for relaxing and enjoying the grandiose view of the Kunstareal Munich.
